“Adoption Agency” Evangelism Workshop

Theme: Training people to understand the gospel message and develop strategies for effective personal/group evangelism.

Sessions: 2 (minimum) to 3 (2 hours each)

Time Span: Friday Night & Saturday AM; Saturday AM; or Saturday (Full Day)

Description: In this workshop a biblical overview of the gospel is given, including foundations in the Old Testament.  From that biblical platform the exact nature of the gospel is explored.  Sessions include the stages and activities of the evangelistic process, methods for building bridges, pitfalls to avoid, using groups effectively to outreach, and dealing with fear.  Discussion concerning the use of miracles in the evangelistic process is included.  Further sessions include building a three-minute testimony as a witnessing tool, and practicing the use of it and a simple gospel booklet to share the gospel with others.
